Knit Your Own Alien! Competition

As part of I Knit Day 2008, we've launched this brand new competition for knitters and crocheters - get creative and knit your own alien! The possibilities are endless...

All entries will be displayed at the show and one lucky winner will be awarded a fabulous prize by our own 'expert' panel of judges. Read on for details of how to enter and a few rules...

1. All entries must be your own creation! We don't want to discover that you have knitted an obscure alien life-form from a 1968 episode of Star Trek (or a 2008 episode of Dr Who, for that matter...)

2. Entries should have a name, a home planet and a brief description of their character, including whether they are a goodie or a baddie...

3. You can knit or crochet...

4. Please keep them smallish (cuddly toy sized!) - no lifesize Martians, please...

5. Bring your finished alien along to I Knit Day - if you can't, you can post it to us at this address (we'll send them back)...

6. Entry is open to anyone, of any age, from any planet...

7. There is no limit to the number of arms, heads, eyes...be creative!
