I Knit (not just) Sock club 2012
The 2011 sock club was such a success that we're doing it all over again. This time the yarn will all be hand dyed by Gerard, I Knit or Dye. All the yarn will be luxury sock yarns and the patterns will be exclusive to club members.The club launches in May.

I Knit Lace Club launches February 2012
The (not just)has been so popular that IKL is launching our very own I Knit or Dye Lace yarn club. The club, launching in January. For the sum of £85 you will get 100g of hand dyed lace yarn with TWO patterns in Jan, Feb, Mar and Apr 2011! One pattern will be easy, the other will be harder. We are really excited to offer this new experience of IKL and we actively encourage knitters who do not have much expereince of lace knitting to sign up as we can offer all the support you need while offering you hand dyed, goregous natural fibres accompanied by patterns you will love.

Launch Party for IKL (not just) Sock Club 14 May 2011
The sock club has been a big hit, judging from the sales, and as so many of you are in or around London I realised a launch tea party might be nice. The event will be from 1pm on 14 May at the shop in Waterloo and those people who are interested in coming along can pick up their very first package. If you would like to pick up your sock club on the day please let me know by email in advance. All the other parcels will be sent by post the day before. There will be the usual tea, chatter, knitting and cake! |

Crafternoon tea for p/hop and MSF Saturday 16 April 1pm-5pm
The first crafternoon tea of 2011 is a pre easter affair to help the award winning (!) p/hop reach there target of £25,000. They are a mere 5% away from that target. There'll be tea, caft, knitting, chatting, as usual. Please feel welcome to bake a cake and bring it as this is how we raise money - selling it per slice for a suggested donation. There'll also be a raffle and hopefully some of you will bring patterns of your own creative to offer to other knitters who can then donate money Per Hours Of Pleasure. |

Alice Starmore I Knit Weekender Exclusive
The UK's premier knitting designer will join us at the I Knit Weekender for the second consecutive year. Alice's stunning books Fisherman's Sweaters and Aran Knitting are republished in September and will be available at the Weekender, along with Alice's Celtic Knotwork workshop.

Crafternoon Tea Party - 26 June from midday
To raise funds for Mencap we are having another crafternoon tea party! The Make and Bake tea party is during the Learning Disability Week. The invitation is open to all, please feel free to bake a cake and bring it along, the cakes will then be sold per slice - the more cake the better! There will be some exciting announcements made about who will be joining us so please put the date in your diary and get your cake recipe books out! We will also be raffling a shawl handknitted by Emily Blades from a pattern by Marleen van der Vorst using yarn from Easy Knits. |

Haiti Fundraiser Tea Party Saturday 23 January 1pm
IKL have been deeply saddened by the devastation caused by the earthquake in Haiti last week. Please join us for a crafternoon tea party to raise money for the people of Haiti.
There will be lots of tea, cake and games. We'll also have a raffle with prizes donated by some of our favorite yarn companies. Plese feel free to bake a cake and bring it along to help raise funds. Even if you don't bring cake please do come along as there will be lots with a suggested donation per slice and per cuppa and we need your £££.
If you can not make it to the party please donate directly to the DEC or MSF. |
