UK Stitch 'n Bitch Day 2007
 
  Timetable Market Entertainment Workshops Take Part

As well as shopping, drinking, dancing and entertainment there are talks and workshops from top knitwear designers...

All workshops are included in the ticket price, but registration will be required on the day as places are limited.

 

Author, designer and founder of Stitch 'n Bitch, Debbie Stoller will host this 90 minute workshop based on a design from the new SnB book (Son of Stitch 'n Bitch) - the Argyle scarf. All materials are included. Don't miss the chance to learn some tips from Debbie herself...Booksigning later in the afternoon

Jean Moss

Jean Moss, author of many highly successful books, including Couture Knits and she has designed international fashion houses such as Ralph Lauren, Benetton and Laura Ashley. She is the now principal designer for Artesano Alpaca. Jean will be giving a presentation on The Joy of Knitting, and will be happy to sign copies of her books which will be also be available on the day.

A Stitch in Time

Artist and author Jane Waller has painstakingly reproduced her classic 1972 knitting book A Stitch in Time, featuring classic vintage patterns from the 20s, 30s and 40s for today's knitters.

Jane Brocket's The Gentle Art of Domesticity

Fresh from her appearance at I Knit London, Jane Brocket will be in the lounge, with crochet flowers workshop. Join her for an hour of crafty chat and pick up a copy (signed!) of the gorgeous new book The Gentle Art of Domesticity.

Betsan Corkhill

Betsan Corkhill of Stitchlinks, has spent three years investigating the therapeutic effects of knitting. What makes knitting uniquely different? Catch up on the latest research and discover the science behind your favourite hobby to enable you to enhance its benefits. Knitting is for everyone, so come along to find out how you can benefit?

Brandon Mably, head of the UK Kaffe Fassett Studio, will be sharing his ideas and inspiration on the use of colour in his designs. Inspired by his travels around the world, Brandon uses bold, striking colours to great effect - he will be ready to take questions, share his ideas and sign copies of the fabulous Knitting Color book afterwards.

Pet Heaven

Don't forget your pets this Christmas! This brilliant new book by Sally Muir and Joanna Osborne is packed with cute knits for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, ponies and more! Sally and Joanna will be in the lounge to show off their pet knits and host a relaxing workshop where you can knit your own hamster! Plus, get your book signed too...
